Last Tuesday, February 9, the 4th grade class had a video call with the writer Gemma Pasqual Escrivà, author of the novel I remember you, Amanda , who have read in this second evaluation.

The meeting, which had to be virtual due to the restrictions of COVID-19, served to allow students to ask questions about the novel, as well as discuss with the author specific issues of the work or talk about the writing profession.

Gemma Pasqual Escrivà explained that the origin of the novel was the news about the investigations into Pinochet and his ignorance of the Chilean dictatorship. Precisely the novel has served our students to learn about one of the most tragic events in recent history, the dictatorship of Pinochet. As a result of the facts described, they have been able to find out how totalitarian regimes and key figures in history such as Salvador Allende, Víctor Jara and Pablo Neruda act.
