WE PAINT OUR ANT QUEEN ARCOIRIS
The class of ants represented our queen ant to have in class. They made it with a little water and plaster, let it drain and then painted it.
From this activity the children in our class learned a new art technique, making sculptures with chalk. They enjoyed it a lot, but they enjoyed it even more when a real anthill arrived and they were able to observe everything we have learned so far from the ants. After the arrival of our anthill, the children decided that our queen ant made of plaster would also be called Arcoiris, like the queen of the anthill we have in class.
