Last Wednesday we were able to enjoy the donuts that Joana made for us, with the help of the teachers. We were able to see the ingredients, how they are made and try them, they turned out delicious!!!

NA JOANA DONUTS RECIPE

Ingredients:
- 1 kg of potato
- 300 g of flour
- 1 package of yeast (the supermarket sells them two at a time)
- Oil
- Sugar (optional)

The potatoes are boiled, the skin is removed and passed through the "pasapure" (or with a fork, but make sure there are no lumps) and mixed with the flour.
The yeast is dissolved in hot water, and then mixed with the potato and flour and a dough is made.
The dough is covered and left to rise (1/2 hour - 1 hour). When it has risen, make the fritters and fry them in very hot oil, so that they are golden on both sides.
Take them out and put them on an absorbent paper and sprinkle the sugar on top.
